The Girl Scouts

Pacolet Mills has a long history of  active Girl Scout programs. It has been very fortunate to have some dedicated and passionate adult leaders to guide the programs. One of these was my Great Aunt, Jessie Brown Paige, who was a leader of  Girl Scout Troop 17 for several years in the early 1950's. We are indebted to her daughter, Dorothy Paige Howell, for making many of  her Mom's scouting photographs available for this website.
